  1. Kukuslah ketan setengah matang terlebih dahulu, angkat kemudian aduk dengan air panas sampai air habis terserap, kemudian beri kelapa parut dan garam dan jika sudah kukuslah sampai matang.
  2. Jika sudah matang diangkat kemudian ditumbuk hingga lumat, dan bentuklah menjadi beberapa bagian sesuai selera anda.
  3. Jika semuanya sudah siap, sajikan dengan cara menaruh tempe bacem diatas jadah (bisa dengan tambahan cabe rawit diatasnya).
